2021 Shine Gold for
Childhood Cancer Awareness
Together, Forever, We Fight Childhood Cancer
We invite you to join us at these events all month!
Popsicle Stands for Childhood Cancer
A pop-up stand wherever you’d like! Grab some popsicles, friends, and let’s make an impact on childhood cancer. We believe that sharing small moments together creates big joy in our hearts. For our Mighty Millie, that was popsicles!
Join us in setting up your own popsicle stand this September to share joy and a smile in honor of Mighty Millie. All proceeds will help to provide popsicles to children during their treatment at the Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center, where Millie was treated for rhabdomyosarcoma.
Light the Night - September 30th
On the final evening of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, you are invited to join us as we light up the night sky in honor of #mightymillie and all the bravest, tiniest warriors fighting unthinkable battles against pediatric cancer. You can do something as simple as light a candle in your home that evening, or you can join us in placing luminaries along your driveway or curb. We want our precious friends and THE WORLD to see how far and wide Millie's light shines!
Miles for Millie
We invite you to join us in spreading awareness by building healthy habits together— all with our Millie’s long, hard fight in mind.💛

Meaningful Ways to Give:
CURE’s Kids Millie supports the Open Arms Meal Program. Help provide a meal for a family fighting childhood cancer in the hospital.
This is especially important to us as our hospital stays were scheduled on Fridays and went through the weekend. The majority of hospital resources and programming are shut down at this time, leaving the hospital to be a very quiet place. Our goal is to provide joy to families on Friday nights by donating at least one Friday night meal each month for the rest of 2021.
Upcoming events.
September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, a time to recognize the children and families affected by childhood cancers and to emphasize the importance of supporting research on these devastating conditions.
