The Mighty Millie Foundation was proud to be a part of the Childhood Cancer Awareness Month proclamation signed by Georgia Governor, Brian Kemp, at the Georgia Capitol Building on August 29th, 2022. Family and friends of Millie’s stood side-by-side with four local Nonprofits We Love:

  • Rally Foundation for Childhood Cancer Research

  • CURE Childhood Cancer

  • Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Children’s Hospital of Atlanta

  • Beads of Courage

We heard from fighters who have received our popsicles in the hospitals and loved them. We told them it was our gift of love and light from Millie.

Co-Founders Claire and Nick Mracek were able to share with the world how Millie’s impact is bringing small moments of big joy across the US in sixteen different hospitals (and growing!). They shared the common goal of raising money for childhood cancer research trials to provide safer, more effective treatment options for our children.

The Mighty Millie Foundation is grateful for Governor Brian Kemp and the State of Georgia for making this important statement and show of support to our community. What a huge day in history.
